Brigitta Catinean,
Personal Stylist
Welcome To My Virtual Closet Home
Step inside and get comfortable
I like to think of my work as equal parts stylist, therapist, and friend. It’s not my job to tell you what to wear or what looks good on you (though I am happy to share my opinion) because that would assume I know you better than you know yourself.
My role on this dressing room journey with you is to ask tough questions, get curious, and hold space for you to share your most honest wants and desires—then help you find clothing that brings them to life.
Because rarely is it about the clothes. It’s almost always about something deeper. Style just happens to be the tangible expression that ties it all together.
I Didn’t Choose This Work
Styling chose me
It might sound silly, but working with a personal stylist can be an incredibly vulnerable, emotional, and transformational experience. So in the spirit of vulnerability, let’s skip the niceties and cue the honesty.
I spent years of my life actively trying to blend in, which was difficult for an abnormally tall European with a noticeable accent living in Canada. My biggest fear was being seen for who I was, so I let others define me.
I’ve been the baggy shirt girl. The oversized jeans gal. The “this shirt is 2 sizes too small and missing 4 inches of fabric” twenty-something who thought “style” and “trend” were interchangeable.
But everything changed in my 30s.
I started taking up space. Speaking up. Standing my ground. And honestly? Getting what I wanted out of life, love, and work. All thanks to reconnecting with my identity & style.
Of course, like everything else in life, personal style is a constant evolution. Something that changes depending on circumstances, goals, and so many other factors (nothing beats a post-breakup style shift, IYKYK).
But I quickly realized that the right wardrobe can make you chase your dreams. Because for me, it did just that. After 15 years in a male-dominated field, I decided it was time to help other women reclaim their power and dress for the life they want.
Now, I’m here—and I’d be honored to join you on your own style evolution.
Dressing done differently
My approach to styling
Personal style is just that—personal. So is each personal stylist's approach to helping their clients dress in a way that feels good. Here’s mine:
Start with why—intentionally define what it is you want out of our work together
Audit what’s currently in the closet—decide what’s working & what needs to find a new home
Make your own rules—you weren’t made to fit in a box, body shape, or colour scheme
Go right outside your comfort zone—change doesn’t happen when you’re comfy, but I also don’t think we need to make drastic changes for true transformation to happen
Focus on fit—we can make anything work; it’s all about the how
You get out what you put in—the more you pour in, the more you’ll receive
Confidence is a direct result of what you wear—enough said
How Personal Styling Works
What to expect when working together
closet call:
We’ll start with a super laidback conversation about why you want to work together, the goals you’re working to achieve, and if we’re the right fit for each other (spoiler alert: we probably are)
Expand, Receive, and Level Up:
With a handful of fresh looks, you’ll step back into your life feeling just as good as you look (which is like, really really good)
curate, shop, and support:
This is where the magic happens—we’ll revamp your wardrobe and transform your life (no, seriously)
Audit & Goodbyes:
Together, we’ll evaluate your current wardrobe and decide what stays and what goes
